Teacher of Music
Required for September 2019 or January 2020
12 month initial contract
We are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic music teacher to work in an ambitious and highly aspirational Music department where the School values the arts as a vital part of school life. An ability to teach geography would be beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
If you have a passion for teaching and learning and are a motivated team player who is committed to getting the best out of pupils we would like to hear from you. The department is part of a wider creative arts faculty which means that you will be very well supported and be part of a vibrant creative arts team.
The school benefits from having well motivated students who want to learn and will embrace the opportunities given by an enthusiastic teacher. This post is ideally suited to an NQT who can lead choirs, has good piano skills and has the time and energy to lead extracurricular rehearsals and events.
If you are such a person, put yourself forward for this exciting opportunity.
We would welcome visits to the school, please contact Louisa Conlon (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to arrange one.
Please see the school website www.romsey.hants.sch.uk for an application form. Applications should be on Romsey School forms individual CV’s will not be accepted. The Romsey School is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Barring Service.
