We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Teacher of Music to deliver the school’s Music curriculum, challenging pupils to reach their full ability. The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, and able to teach Music across the Key Stages. The ideal candidate will have the ability to challenge and engage learners through a passion for Music have a strong understanding of knowledge-based curriculum. This is a popular and rapidly growing area of our curriculum offer and we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all of our students.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2023.

Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of north west Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with a number of local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough. As part of the local community, Guiseley School has a firm reputation for high standards in both behaviour and academic endeavour. The Governing Board is keen to continue this traditional understanding of the school and to develop its reputation for excellence. The school is proud to have achieved the prestigious Platinum Artsmark award in 2017.
