We are seeking to recruit, for September 2019, an enthusiastic and ambitious musician, to work three days a week, to help further build the high standard of music within the school.  The successful candidate will teach music at KS3.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced, successful and collaborative Music department. Pupils are well behaved, polite, and keen to learn and are all encouraged to achieve their individual best. Teachers in the Academy have high expectations for all, but very much tailor their lessons to suit the needs of each pupil. 

Providing an education with character is central to our academy values. We pride ourselves in having an excellent extra-curricular and enrichment provision for students.  We believe music should be made accessible to all, encouraging musical activity at all levels is key to the department ethos.We are looking for a candidate whose dynamism, commitment, energy, professional expertise and experience qualifies them to take on this exciting role. The successful candidate will be a first rate musician, who is capable of giving effective and inspiring direction to pupils and colleagues. They will also be an excellent choir leader, an outstanding classroom practitioner, a superb communicator, and will fully understand the commitment required of all staff.
