Corby Business Academy is a popular and oversubscribed 11-18 Academy with a growing reputation both locally and nationally. Closely located to the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border we provide staff and students with a modern learning environment, offering state of the art teaching and learning facilities equipped to meet the challenges of a varied and engaging curriculum.
We are a passionate and hardworking department. We are an incredibly well resourced department including a mac suite, bespoke recording studio, practice rooms, keyboard suite, a full samba and steel pan set, as well as access to a 500 seater theatre. We are looking to recruit someone who is a team player, passionate about music and student achievement. You will be expected to teach music to all abilities at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Experience of conducting and leading ensembles and contributing to the extensive range of ensembles would be desirable.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and inspirational teacher who is committed to raising standards for all students. You will have innovative ideas to support the development of music across the Academy and to develop further links with professional musicians.
