We are seeking to appoint for September 2019, an enthusiastic, inspirational and motivated part-time (0.5) teacher to cover maternity leave until May 2020. They will have a passion for their subject and will inspire and engage our students across all Key Stages.
The successful applicant will join a committed, hardworking and friendly Creative Arts department who work closely together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students teaching across a range of Key Stages.
Year 7: Rock School keyboard and ukulele topic, covering notation, basic instrument and theory skills
Year 8: Blues topic, looking at performance and composition, and Band skills topic
Year 9: solo music performance skills topic/film music and song writing composition topic
Year 10/11: BTEC Level 2 Music
Year 12/13: BTEC Level 3 Music
You will have strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge, be creative and innovative and have high standards. The successful applicant will have the skills and attributes to have a real impact upon learning, ensuring that all students achieve or exceed their potential.
