For September 2019, we are looking to appoint a music teacher to join a highly successful, and growing, Music department.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Music teacher to join a department that enjoys an excellent reputation both within and beyond the school. Our GCSE Music cohort of 2018 achieved 83% grade 9-5 and 33% of the students achieved a grade 9. The progress 8 score for the Music cohort was 1.50. If you are an outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire and motivate students, we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate will not only be passionate about their subject, and have exceptional subject knowledge, but also have a passion and drive to deliver and engage students in their studying of Music from Key stage 3 to A level. The outstanding behaviour of our students truly gives you the opportunity to teach your subject and deliver exciting and engaging lessons. A large number of our students study a musical instrument inside or outside of school and we are seeking a music teacher who would be passionate about developing the extra-curricular and performance opportunities for our students.
The school has now moved to its new £25-million-pound building located in Stanmore, Wemborough Road HA7 2EQ. you will be able to teach in facilities that are up to date and at the cutting edge of technology. You will have your own classroom space dedicated to your subject enabling you to develop the very best teaching and learning practices. There are a full range of other facilities including; state of the art sports grounds and hall, performing arts spaces and fantastic teaching rooms.
