St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED as a good school with outstanding Behaviour and Outstanding Leadership and Management; by the DfE as a Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. In 2016 81% of our pupils achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Mathematics; whilst at A2 91% of our students achieved A*-C grades and 61% achieved A*-B grades.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified Music specialist (the department currently offers to students GCSE Music and NCFE Level 3 in Music Technology). The ability to teach KS3 Drama would be advantageous and a commitment and willingness to participate fully in the school’s extensive extra-curricular provision is essential.

The successful applicant will be supported in a strong and well-resourced department. All rooms have interactive whiteboards, excellent resources with superb Music Technology equipment and applications, in addition to the services of an administrative assistant and Music technician. The school is also firmly committed to CPD. Visits to the school are welcome.

The school is firmly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and all staff will be required to have a DBS check. A respect for the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.
