This is an exciting post where you will be required to teach Music across key stage 3 and 4. At Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport, we are looking to rebrand and grow our music provision both within our curriculum and co-curricular offer. Moreover, the Academy is intending to significantly upgrade and enhance our Music facilities and resources over the course of the next academic year. You will be working closely with our Drama department and involved in cross-curricular projects such as the annual school musical show. As well as providing exciting and inspirational lessons for our students, you will be actively encouraged and supported to set up other musical experiences for our students through educational visits, school choir and school band. You need to have flair and passion for your subject and be able to inspire our young people to achieve their ambitions. The Academy offers an innovative approach to CPD through a personalised research study and value this highly.
This role would suit a teacher who has the drive and desire to take their career to the next level; for the right candidate we are willing to offer excellent career progression and remuneration up to UPS 3.
