Job overview

Co-op Academies Trust aims to provide an outstanding education for all our learners, founded on co-operative values, at the heart of the community. It is responsible for eighteen academies in Leeds, Greater Manchester, Wirral and Stoke-on-Trent with the Co-op acting as the sponsor. There is the likelihood of significant further growth in the near future.  This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Music to join an expanding organisation.

The Academy is looking to appoint a committed and   enthusiastic individual to undertake the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Expression Zone at Walkden High School, comprising Music, P.E, Dance, Drama & Media.

Walkden High School is a wonderful community; brilliant, able, hard-working students, committed staff, and amazingly supportive parents

We are proud to provide an academic education within a comprehensive setting.  We are passionate about caring for our students and in doing so we aim for the STARS:  Sensible, Thoughtful, Ambitious, Respectful & Supportive – qualities you will display to inspire our students.

We need to work together to get the best possible outcomes for all our young people, but especially our most able and our disadvantaged pupils.  You will join our Music team and will play a key part in not only gaining excellent results for our students, but also in enthusing them about Music.

The successful applicant will be required to teach all abilities from Year 7 to GCSE.
