Runnymede College are looking for a motivated teacher of Music who will have the ability to:
- teach Junior and Middle School Music
- register and organise the ABRSM instrumental exams, for which Runnymede is a Centre
- coordinate peripatetic instrumental teachers for classes given in the school
- rehearse Music for school assemblies, concerts and plays
- organise school trips for the Music Department
- lead the school choir
The successful applicant will have:
- a good honours degree from a British University
- a PGCE or equivalent qualification for teaching Music
- recent experience as a teacher in a school in the UK
- experience of teaching Music up to GCSE/IGCSE
- previous experience of an international school is preferable but not essential
- must be a fluent English speaker, some knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
- working knowledge of common software
- possess valid references and a DBS check

Runnymede College is a private school that provides a British education for English-speaking students of all nationalities who are resident in Madrid.
The aims of the School are:
- To provide an all-round, academic, liberal humanist education to all students regardless of their sex, race, religion or nationality. There is no religious instruction.
