Greenshaw High School is a highly over-subscribed 11-19 comprehensive school situated in Sutton, south-west London, and is part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with a passion for Music and the ability to inspire our staff and students to join our school as a Teacher of Music. The successful candidate will teach Music up to Key Stage 4 (up to Key Stage 5 would be desirable) and play a central role in the Music department, with the highest ambitions for learning and rigorously high expectations. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established department and make a contribution to its ambitious vision for the future.

This is a part-time vacancy for two days a week (0.40 FTE), with a preferred working pattern of Monday and Wednesday. Applicants should indicate their preferred working pattern on their statement of suitability. 

This is a fixed-term vacancy from 1st January 2022 to 31st August 2022.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Music, with detailed knowledge of current curriculum and pedagogical developments in their subject and the wider curriculum. A desire to raise overall achievement in Music through promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning is essential.
