We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher from September 2023:

Part-Time Teacher of Music Technology

(Fixed Term Contract for 1 Academic Year - 4.5 hours per week)

We are looking to employ a part-time, suitably qualified teacher of Music Technology. The successful candidate will be able to teach to Level 3 BTEC.

Kingham Hill is a thriving, independent, co-educational, boarding and day school of approximately 350 pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. There are twelve Houses, eight for boarders and four for day pupils.  Pupils are very well known and supported individually in relation to their academic progress and personal development. Recent capital developments include a new Library, Science & Mathematics building, Sports Centre, and Theatre.

Entry to the School is normally at 11+, 13+ and into the Sixth Form. There is a clear academic emphasis throughout the School and the formal curriculum includes an extensive range of subjects at GCSE and A level with the great majority of pupils going on to universities in the UK. The School also offers BTECS and CTechs.  Value-added scores in public examinations are among the highest both regionally and nationally.  Alongside the academic curriculum, there are extensive sporting and co-curricular programmes.

The School is one of only two accredited schools in the UK that are able to offer the American High School Diploma alongside a traditional British education.
