Job overview

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and creative music teacher, with the potential and desire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner, who is able to develop a passion for Performing Arts within our learners. This is an exciting position that will primarily teach secondary music with a unique opportunity to provide vocal coaching to small groups and individuals.

With faith at the heart of all that we do at Bradford Academy we have a team of dedicated staff who are enthusiastic about learning and committed to our young people and their educational and spiritual journey.

We work with a range of partners to ensure that the experience of our young people is personalised, appropriate and challenging. This was recently recognised through receipt of the prestigious TES award for Community and Collaboration.

As an academy, we have high expectations of our staff and students. We expect our staff to actively participate in CPD programmes, some of which are delivered by experienced Lead Practitioners within the academy. We have been awarded the Professional Development Quality Mark from University College London at Platinum level for our training and development of staff.

Applications are welcome from both ECTs and experienced colleagues. We offer an excellent support programme (with subject specialist mentors) for ECT’s.
