We are looking for professionals who:

  • the opportunity to put your ideas into practice and your talent to best use

No matter what your career path to date, or your age, we wish to recruit inspirational colleagues. Potential is at least as important as experience measured by years served, and we intend to appoint for attitude and train for skills.

Cedars Upper is a popular and high-performing school of 1200 students. We were graded as ‘good’ in all aspects by Ofsted in September 2013 and we are determined to now strive for ‘outstanding’. The school achieved its best ever GCSE results in 2016 with 72% of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and maths,

We wish to appoint inspirational colleagues with the potential to help us reach our goal. A real passion for teaching and learning is the most important attribute a successful applicant will need.

Over the past two years we have invested over £2.5 million in new sporting, music, IT and vocational facilities. We have excellent sporting facilities including a brand new full size 3G pitch and an indoor climbing wall.

We are fully committed to on-going continuous professional development and along with excellent in-house CPD can offer an extremely supportive and positive atmosphere to work in. Our students are hard-working and deserve outstanding teachers, or teachers striving to be outstanding.
