Required for September 2017, a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time teacher of PE to teach throughout this academically selective day school (years 7-13).  

The successful candidate should offer high level teaching and coaching (lacrosse would be a preferable sport), and be willing to teach a range of activities. Experience in teaching A Level and/or GCSE Physical Education would be an advantage. A full contribution to the school’s extensive range of extra-curricular clubs and fixtures will be expected.  

Very good conditions for staff; well-motivated, responsible girls; friendly, supportive colleagues; salaries on school’s own scale. The School has excellent sports facilities including its own swimming pool, dance studio, gym & fitness centre, in addition to numerous pitches and courts.

Founded in 1875, Haberdashers’ Girls’ School, Elstree is a leading independent day school for girls aged 4–18. The School’s academic results place it amongst the highest-ranked schools in the UK.
