The Governors at Cornelius Vermuyden are seeking to appoint an exciting and ambitious teacher of PE to GCSE level from January or Easter 2018. In addition to the teaching of PE, it is expected that Science will also be taught. The PE department is home to fantastic facilities, resources and equipment, all set within 38 acres of land. The school delivers a wide range of sports both at KS3 and GCSE PE. Both PE and Science are successful courses at Key Stage 4 and are supported by some of the best resources and new technologies in the county.

The successful candidate will have:

· a commitment to high standards in teaching and very high expectations of achievement for all;

· creativity and dynamism to develop outstanding and innovative classroom practice;

· a passion for learning and teaching within PE and Science.
