Bedales Schools consists of three schools: Dunannie (3-8), Dunhurst (8-13) and Bedales (13-18). The Director of Sport has oversight of sport across all three of the Bedales Schools with responsibility for the vision of Physical Education and developing sporting talent across the 3-18 age group within an innovative and supportive department.
Bedales School (13-18) is looking for an inspirational teacher of Physical Education & Sport. In addition to high-quality teaching across the three schools, the ideal candidate will be suitably qualified and experienced to take on the role of Head of Netball, contribute to Bedales Assessed Course (BAC) Sports Science, and lead Athletics.
The Teacher of PE & Sport will need to be an infectiously enthusiastic individual, flexible in their delivery and able to manage change at short notice. They will be able to adapt their approach to the needs of the group. Above all else, they will ensure that in all aspects of their work, the needs of the children are the main consideration.

About Bedales School
Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.
Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
