We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education and Sports Teacher to join our team. Reporting into the Director of Sport, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the swimming and physical education curriculum that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, fosters sportsmanship, and enhances students' overall physical well-being.

In addition to their primary role in swimming and physical education, the successful candidate will be required to contribute to the Games programme and the pastoral and extracurricular life of the school. This role is suitable for ECTs, please see below for a full job description.

Clifton College Preparatory School (known locally as 'The Pre') is the region’s largest boarding and day preparatory school for 400 girls and boys aged 8 to 13. 

Bristol businessman Dr John Percival, who championed the benefits of science, diversity and the education of women, founded Clifton College in 1862. The college has since fostered the talents of students including General Douglas Haig and Olympic hockey gold medallist Lily Owsley. The NSPCC had its first meeting on the school’s grounds. 

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach at The Preparatory School, spanning Years 4–8. Each child is considered and treated as an individual with a unique profile of skills, passions, talents and undiscovered potential.
