Job overview

Promoting and supporting the development of good quality teaching across the PE department, you will work with others to ensure that all students from 11 to 18 enjoy physical education and aspire to achieve well in the subject at GCSE and post 16. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a significant impact in the subject and work in a department with excellent resources including a fitness gym, Astroturf pitch, tennis courts, to name a few. If successful, you will be required to teach PE at all Key Stages and BTEC Sport at Level 3.

The Academy is a vibrant and exciting place to be, with a superb group of staff and amazing students who are motivated to achieve their personal best. We were judged as "Good" by Ofsted and have recently moved into a brand new £26m building with state of the art facilities, excellent resources and access to the latest technology. This is clearly a very exciting time to join us. Results are good and students aspire to continue their studies in our Sixth Form. Colleagues are well-motivated and work collaboratively to ensure that every child reaches their full potential both academically and socially.
