 Bishop Young Church of England Academy is based in East Leeds.   The academy was formerly known as the David Young Community Academy and has recently changed its name as it moves into an exciting new era as part of the Abbey Multi-Academy Trust. 

Bishop Young Church of England Academy is poised to achieve great things. Opening as a new member of the Abbey Multi Academy Trust marks the start of a new chapter for the staff, students and community of BYA. 

Together we need to be both realistic about the challenges ahead, but unswerving in our commitment to tackling them with pace and the confidence that we can affect rapid change. 

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, engaging and reflective practitioner to join an excellent Physical Education Department. We would welcome applications from individuals who have a passion for extra-curricular sport, can rise to the challenge and can demonstrate impact and improvements in their current role. 

Candidates who have the motivation to work with a vibrant team and the passion to work with children in a supportive and rapidly evolving environment, are encouraged to apply. 

The salary range for the post is MPS1 – UPS3 (£22,467 - £38,250) depending on experience.
