Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices.

All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way. Esland employees are responsible for promoting equal opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice which discriminates against any young person or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, or any other perceived difference

About Us

At Esland Grantham School, we provide an inspirational learning environment where students are supported and encouraged to actively participate in learning opportunities.

We offer high-quality education to 7 to 18 year-olds with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with the primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).  In addition to this, many of our students have neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), ADD (attention-deficit disorder) and attachment. They may also have encountered a range of adverse childhood experiences and trauma.

We have our own unique identity, ethos, and approach to our curriculum, and we use the Turning the Curve™ education model to support students who, depending on their background and circumstances, may be at different stages in their education.

Our aim is to develop resilient, responsible, respectful, and confident individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential. We make sure our students are ready for the next step in their educational journey, so that they can live successful and fulfilled lives as adults.
