Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School is a selective entry, co-educational grammar school located in the centre of Thames-side town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The school has an excellent academic record, placing well on a variety of national league tables, and is very heavily over-subscribed.
Our most recent OFSTED report described the school as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Standards of attainment are well above the national average, and above those achieved by comparable selective schools at all age levels. The school also has a justifiably high reputation for its outstanding sports programme (mentioned in may national magazines) its performing arts for its many other extra-curricular activities. The school is a MAT teaching school and offers extensive professional development opportunities for all staff.
A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic PE teacher to join an outstanding department. This post will initially be on a one year contract, with the likelihood of a full time post becoming available. This post would suit an NQT or someone with more experience.
