Although specialisms are technically a thing of the past, ours is one that we passionately believe in. The successful candidate will clearly be able to demonstrate their effectiveness as a teacher and the wider contribution they will make to developing sport and fitness in our school. In return, you’ll find yourself working with a great team of teachers and coaches on a huge, 43-acre site with outstanding facilities for sport.

Langdon Academy is a 3-16 school, sponsored by Brampton Manor Trust. We work in close partnership with Brampton Manor Academy (an outstanding 11-18 Academy), which is the other school within our multi-academy trust (MAT). There is great spirit, energy and optimism in the school since joining the MAT in 2014 which has led to substantial improvements and successes in every aspect of school life, placing the school slightly above the national average for Progress 8 and substantially above for the English Baccalaureate. However, this is by no means sufficient, given the potential of our students.
