Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013. The academy continues to go from strength to strength, with happy and motivated staff, a supportive culture and plenty of opportunities for personal growth with our excellent staff CPD offer. The role

Due to the ever-growing popularity of our school, we seek a motivated, passionate and committed PE teacher to join us. You will inspire and challenge your students so that they develop into highly effective, independent learners and achieve their individual potential. The department has high expectation of students and staff and is driven by a relentless pursuit of academic achievement for all. Active involvement in the department’s extracurricular offer is expected as part of the role.

About You

You will have Qualified Teacher Status. You’re an inspiring practitioner with the ability to achieve success within a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching across KS3-5, including experience of GCSE and A level, as well as holding a MIDAS qualification. You will have the ability to consistently deliver high quality lessons. You will have good interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills and have the highest expectations for what our students can achieve.
