We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our PE department where you will be supported and developed to ensure that you deliver inspirational and innovative teaching on a daily basis. The team works collaboratively to share good practice and to improve teaching and learning across the department.
The OCR Level 3 Sport course is consistently popular and the ideal candidate will have experience of teaching at this level.
The PE department is a dynamic and enthusiastic team of teachers who are passionate about the subject and are committed to providing quality sporting opportunities for students.
The successful candidate will be required to teach a wide range of sports at KS3 and 4, including GCSE PE.
At Post 16 students can continue to add to their PE qualifications and study BTEC Level 3 Sport.
Extra-curricular activities are extremely popular within the PE Department. Recently the Year 11 boys Under 16 team won the Leeds Champions Finals. We have also achieved great success with our student Sports Leaders who have worked alongside the department and local primary schools to organise primary competitions.
The role is to cover maternity leave for 2 terms.
