Job overview

The St Neots Learning Partnership is a Multi- Academy Trust consisting of two secondary schools in St Neots: Longsands Academy and Ernulf Academy.  This is an exciting period of change and development at the Trust and a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to be part of developing the PE department at Ernulf.

Required from September 2017, Ernulf Academy is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, ambitious, and dedicated teacher of Girls Physical Education with an ability to teach English as a second subject. The role will suit an energetic qualified PE specialist with a keen interest and experience in girls’ sport. The trust welcomes applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

The successful applicant will join a department with a very strong record of student achievement at all levels, and will teach KS3 and KS4 students across the ability range. A busy extra-curricular programme and strong examination provision offer an excellent opportunity to pursue particular strengths and interests.

The Academy enjoys some excellent facilities, with an on-site leisure centre providing access to swimming, squash and a brand new fitness suite, in addition to two astro-turf pitches, netball/tennis courts and extensive playing fields.

At Ernulf Academy, you can expect a supportive culture within a Trust with very high aspirations. We value our staff and there are many development opportunities within the Partnership. All teachers receive an i-pad or laptop to assist with planning and communications. There is the possibility of reduced rate accommodation in a shared rental property on site.

Please visit our website www.ernulf.cambs.sch.uk for further information and to download an application form. Completed application forms should be submitted to hr1@ernulf.cambs.sch.uk
