Teacher of PE w/ Dance Specialism (Female)

JFS is seeking to appoint a permanent Teacher of Physical Education (Female) with a specific specialism in the teaching of Dance This vacancy has been created following the expansion of our Dance offering in both extra curricular as well as curricular areas of the school. The successful candidate would contribute to the Teacher i/c Dance’s vision to expand and promote Dance at JFS among male and female students. Both experienced and NQT candidates are welcome.
Key responsibilities will include:
• ability to teach GCSE Dance and A Level Dance essential.
• ability to teach KS3 to 4 core Physical Education across the ability range, essential.
• implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum for students
• monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/Form Tutor;
• facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential;
• contribute to raising standards of student attainment;
• share and support the School's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth;
