Nailsea School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented and hardworking PE teacher. 

The successful candidate will also be required to teach Humanities for half of their timetable.

The position will require candidates to deliver a dynamic PE curriculum to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.  A requirement to be able to teach GCSE, level 2 OCR Sports Studies and level 3 OCR Sport and Physical Activity is essential. The role will also require passionate commitment to the extra-curricular programme.

The successful applicant will also deliver some of the Humanities curriculum; History and Geography at KS3 and Ethics (a non-examined course) at KS3 and KS4.

With predicted numbers rising at the school there will be an increase in the proportion of PE teaching in the future and there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent during the year. It is an exciting time to join a friendly and supportive school at a time of expansion.

The PE department is fortunate to have state of the art facilities which include a 4G artificial pitch, a purpose-built Dance Studio and Sports' Hall.
