The Academy is judged as Outstanding in all areas and is a Leading Challenge Partners school having exceptional facilities in a state-of-the-art teaching environment.

A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Teacher of P&R to work alongside the other faculties, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will teach with a dedicated team in a well-established faculty with a very well-developed and resourced curriculum programme for Philosophy and Religion and Wellbeing (PSHE).

ECT’s are welcome to apply, and the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, passionate, creative and outstanding practitioner who is enthusiastic to teach across all key stages. This role could include the opportunity to manage the Key Stage 3 Philosophy and Religion curriculum and lead our exceptionally supportive and passionate team across years 7, 8 and 9.

The successful applicant will have a clear focus on managing and developing the P & R curriculum at Key Stage 3. It will also be an advantage to have an interest and expertise in teaching across all key stages including GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies and being involved in delivering the Wellbeing (PSHE) curriculum to all key stages.  You will be part of a faculty which has celebrated many years of exam success and prides itself on expecting the very highest standards of achievement from its students whilst nurturing and supporting all. Keeping up to date with the local and national agenda will be essential.

We believe this is a great opportunity to support our aims to be a constantly forward-thinking school.
