Sedbergh Prep School is thriving and growing in numbers thanks to the calibre and commitment of its staff.  It is a busy boarding Prep School with a strong community where opportunities abound, particularly in sport, drama and outdoor pursuits. 

As part of our strategic vision for the School, we are seeking an outstanding part time teacher Philosophy for Children. The successful candidate will be innovative, inspirational and aspirational. The Post may suit a recently qualified teacher (NQT).  

The successful candidate will be required to

1. Teach on Saturday morning throughout the academic year, from 9.50am to 12.40pm

2. Prepare lessons (no marking required)

3. Write reports

4. Fulfil duty cover during the breaks on Saturdays (no boarding duties are attached to this role)

This will be a fixed term post from September 2019 to July 2020.
