Prince Henry's Grammar School is a successful and vibrant fully comprehensive school with a specialism in languages and a national and international reputation for dynamic and inspirational work. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Physical Education to join the team of 6 specialists at Prince Henry’s teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 core PE for two days. The successful candidate will also co-ordinate and deliver (with, where appropriate, the support of external coaches and specialist organisations) a PE & Sport programme for our partner primary schools (Ashfield, All Saints, Pool, St Josephs, The Whartons and Westgate) for three days.
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Physical Education
- The ability to enthuse and motivate students - including primary age students
- A commitment to a range of extra-curricular activities throughout the year
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A degree in Physical Education and secondary QTS (or working towards)
- A commitment to continuous professional development
