Beths Grammar School is a popular selective boy’s grammar school with a co-ed sixth form and academy status. The school was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2007 and again in 2012. Beths is an academic institution. It focuses on hard work and a high level of achievement by both students and staff as well as developing rounded, confident young men and women.
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of PE to join this very popular and successful Department which has a proven track record of embracing innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will be able to teach PE to A Level and have a particular interest or specialism in basketball and/or rugby.
With a 40%/60% mix of girls and boys within our sixth form an interest in promoting girls PE would be desirable.
All new members of teaching staff to the school will receive their own laptop.
We warmly welcome applications from either experienced or newly qualified teachers. However, unfortunately, due to the current self-isolation instructions, visits to the school can not be arranged.
Please note that we reserve the right to close any advert before the advertised closing date should a sufficient response have been received. Therefore, please ensure that you complete your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
