Teacher of Physical Education (FS / KS1 / KS2)
Teachers’ Main / Upper Pay Scale
Aston Community Education Trust (ACET) are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious professional who is keen to develop the physical skills of pupils across Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will believe that all children can achieve high standards and will be eager to be part of the development of exceptional learning communities.
Within ACET, we are dedicated to providing our children with an exciting and stimulating learning environment. We believe that physical activity (during lessons, play and extra-curricular) is essential when developing the whole child, as a motivating factor for academic learning and in educating pupils for life long health. We wish to appoint professionals who share this vision and are able to sustain the excellent progress already achieved.
The successful candidate will be based initially in Brookfield Junior Academy teaching Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2 children, but may have the opportunity to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 in future years, should he/she wish to extend his/her professional experience.
Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
Visits to Brookfield Junior Academy are warmly encouraged during the recruitment process; please contact Rachel Denton on 01709 570586 to arrange.
As this post will be part of Aston Community Education Trust, please visit www.brookfieldjunioracademy.org for further details and an application pack. Completed applications should be returned by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Monday 23rd September 2019. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 25th September; shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Monday 23rd with details.
