We are looking for a talented PE teacher who is passionate about their subject and who is able to engage and inspire our students.
Cheney School is a popular, high performing school located in the heart of Oxford serving a diverse community of students who are eager to learn. Following successful examination results and a positive Ofsted report the school has recently expanded to become a Multi Academy Trust.
We have a forward thinking Physical Education department committed to engaging and enthusing students through an enquiry based approach to learning. The department is motivated and ambitious to ensure our students fulfil their potential and achieve highly. We are looking for a like-minded colleague to join our strong and successful department.
This exciting post offers the possibility of teaching across all key stages with the opportunity of teaching level 2 and 3 BTEC Sport and BTEC Dance. Successful candidates will be keen to involve themselves in the department’s extensive and expanding extra-curricular programme, with a particular interest in water-sports.
The post would suit an innovative individual; either an NQT or an experienced teacher. We are an excellent and supportive school for prospective NQTs to develop as teachers, as well as providing a platform for experienced staff to further develop their professional career.
