TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE) - TLR available

Central Foundation is located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, which offers a range of amazing opportunities for our students. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of PE to join our high performing PE department. We provide a broad range of sporting opportunities for our young people during the week, as well as on a Saturday morning and the successful applicant will be expected to continue to build upon and grow our extra-curricular sports offerings. 

We have had successful achievements in basketball, athletics, football, and cricket events. Notably, we've won four of the five Regional football cup competitions, become champions of Islington & Camden in the regional athletics competition, and secured a spot in the semi-finals of the English Schools Track and Field Cup.

Our sport provision includes football, cricket, basketball, dodgeball, athletics, badminton, swimming, fencing, tennis, table tennis and boxing.

There are, on average, 3 fixtures taking place each week off-site. The department is supported by a full-time technician/administrator and has 3 minibuses at its disposal.

The position will be suitable for both a newly qualified and a more experienced teacher who is looking to take on more responsibility within a department. A TLR is available for a candidate who is looking to take on more responsibility within the department.
