At Kinross High School, we are committed to a vision of 'Learning Together and Achieving Together'.  We value ambition, responsibility, resilience and compassion in our staff and pupils and as a result, we enjoy positive relationships with our young people.

We are seeking a Teacher of Physical Education (PE); working 3 days per week for a fixed term of up to 12 months for maternity cover.  As well as providing core PE across all year groups, we offer a range of choices in qualification to young people ranging from National 3 to Advanced Higher Physical Education, National 4 and 5 Dance, National 5 Exercise and Fitness Leadership and Community Sports Leadership Award.  Out of school, we also traditionally offer clubs in football, rugby, netball, hockey and athletics opportunities.

You will be responsible for working within an innovative team to support our young people’s development in PE and the promotion of Health and Well-being.  This role is key to equipping young people with the skills and strategies which will help them to succeed and grow in confidence during their time at Kinross High School.

Our core values also apply to our staff and we are committed to unlocking their potential.  We offer an established professional learning programme, host an annual conference providing an opportunity to integrate with our primary school colleagues as well as offering development role opportunities.

We invite you to have a look at our school website for more information about our learning community and to hear from our senior pupils about why you should work at KHS.  Please follow the link below or search 'Working at Kinross High School'.
