Job overview

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, inspirational full-time teacher of Physical Education and Sports with a particular focus upon girls games to join the successful sports team and teach pupils from Nursery to Year 11. Extensive experience of sports for young women, academic teaching to at least GCSE and a willingness to contribute to a broad sporting programme for all of our pupils in a co-educational setting would be a advantageous - along with a positive can-do approach to innovation and change.

About Shoreham College

Shoreham College is a coeducational all-through school for children aged 3-16 situated in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. The school is administered by a governing council and is a registered charity. At full capacity, this independent day school can host 494 students across pre-school, primary and secondary.

Shoreham College was founded by the Protestant Alderman of Shoreham in 1852. It became Shoreham Grammar School for Boys, then Shoreham College in 1979. It became coeducational in the 1980s and the nursery was opened in 1994.
