Swanshurst is an ‘Outstanding School’ for girls with 1760 students on roll aged 11-19 years.  We offer excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their career.  ‘Swanshurst School has been a great environment for my first term as an NQT.  The support I have received from my department and the mentoring team has been amazing and is ongoing.  I couldn’t wish for a better place to spend the first of hopefully many years of teaching.’ (NQT)

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Science graduate to join our large and successful department.



We would expect you to teach all Science disciplines at Key Stage 3 and KS4 Combined Science, plus Separate Science at KS4 and also KS5, where we offer all Science A-levels and BTEC Applied Science. We are particularly interested in applications from Physics graduates.


This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
