We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Physics to join our successful and hardworking Science teams across two schools within Christleton Learning Trust – Queen’s Park High School and Christleton International Studio. This post is suitable for both newly qualified teachers or colleagues seeking to develop their skills further, within a culture of high expectation and strong professional support. We are looking for a Physics specialist capable of inspiring students to be successful at GCSE, A Level and the International Baccalaureate.
Queen’s Park High School is a smaller than average 11-18 comprehensive school beautifully situated, close to the heart of the historic city of Chester. The school vision is ‘Inspiring Individuals • Empowering Minds • Defining Futures’ and strives constantly to improve the quality of students’ classroom experiences in the pursuit of outstanding learning.
Christleton International Studio opened its doors in September 2017 and is looking to expand its Science team. We are authorised in both the IB Diploma and IB Career Programmes and offer Physics in both. Our passion is to create the school of the future with a blended use of technology, an individual approach to students and authentic global connections embedded in our curriculum. We offer full support and training for teachers new to the IB.
