We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Physics from September 2018. The ideal candidate will join a successful and forward-thinking team, helping to challenge and stimulate our able students by incorporating new ideas and initiatives. There is opportunity to teach Physics as a Separate Science from Year 8 through to Sixth Form, both at A Level and IB, as well as several STEM initiatives with the possibility of teaching some Junior Science in Year 7. Physics is a popular choice in the Sixth Form, and we regularly send students to top universities to study Physics-related courses. The ability to help prepare students for Oxbridge would be an advantage.
The post is suitable for experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession who may be able to participate in our highly-regarded Schools Direct programme. A proactive culture of supporting and developing talented and inspiring teachers is supported by the Senior Management Team.
Staff will be encouraged to contribute fully to the co-curricular life of the School and this is reflected in the salary offered. A strong commitment to the pastoral and house system is also anticipated. Accommodation may be available. Assistance is offered towards removal expenses.
