An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and well qualified Teacher of Physics to join a large and thriving department in order to teach well motivated, hard-working and high achieving pupils throughout the school. It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to stretch the most able Sixth Form pupils who are en route to Oxbridge or similar destinations, whilst also being able to use different strategies and techniques to teach across the ability range in all Key Stages.
The post holder will also be required to teach Key Stage 3 Mathematics for 2 hours per week.
St Albans High School for Girls is a highly academic girls’ independent day school set in the heart of St Albans, with very good transport links to central and outer London.
