Are you an inspirational and talented Physics Teacher, looking to work with students from across the world as part of a great team of staff?  We are an independent college for students aged 14+, offering A-level, IB, GCSE and Foundation programmes to both UK and international day and boarding students, and we have a part-time, permanent vacancy for September 2021.


CATS College Canterbury is a dynamic and progressive international school, offering a range of Programmes of Study to students. The school environment is positive and harmonious, and our students are motivated and make good progress, allowing most students to progress to British Universities. An exciting opportunity has arisen to teach in our thriving Science Faculty. If you are an outstanding, creative and inspiring teacher, able to teach Physics to KS5 (IB and/or A-level), join us in teaching bright international students in the heart of Canterbury.



Starting in April 2022, we are looking for a person who has:

•    Subject specialism in Physics, with a related degree; 

•    Ability to teach Mathematics at KS4 and/or KS5;

•    A belief in the ability of all students to achieve; 

•    A proven record as an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner;

•    Responsive teaching strategies that incorporate high quality feedback and a focus on literacy;

•    A commitment to raising student achievement;

•    Good IT skills;

•    Enthusiasm for continued professional learning.;

•    Interest in, and knowledge of, national and international current affairs related to Science and Maths

The Worthgate School offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 14+ from all over the world.
