Teacher of Primary

We are looking to recruit 0.4FTE Core specialist teachers in Insch School. You will be keen to share your expertise with our young learners in a specialist area e.g. Modern Languages, Science, PE, Art, Music, Health or Drama.

Insch Primary is a large school situated in the small rural town of Insch and 11 miles north of Inverurie. It nestles close to the peaks of Bennachie, popular with hill walkers and dog walkers. A non-denominational school with a current roll of 314 Primary pupils and a further 120 Nursery children, Insch Primary provides education for children aged 3 – 12 (ante-preschool – P7). At Insch School we celebrate diversity and inspire all our young learners to reach for the stars and achieve their very best. We strive to create an inclusive and nurturing learning community. Hours are flexible and the post could be filled by more than one individual working on a part time basis. If you are keen to join our motivated and committed team we want to hear from you.

Salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.

This post is regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
