A vacancy has arisen for 0.8FTE Primary Registered Teacher at Insch School. This is to cover Non Class Contact Time (NCCT) throughout the school. We are looking for individuals who can offer high quality learning and teaching in the Expressive Arts in particular or other areas of expertise. We will consider multiple candidates interested in working all or part of the 4 days required.

Insch Primary is a large school situated in the small rural town of Insch and 11 miles north of Inverurie. It nestles close to the peaks of Bennachie, popular with hill walkers and dog walkers. A non-denominational school with a current roll of 314 Primary pupils and a further 120 Nursery children, Insch Primary provides education for children aged 3 – 12 (ante-preschool – P7). Salary for this post will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.
This post is regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
