Teacher of Primary

Argyll and Bute Council require a part-time temporary Teacher of Primary for Dalmally Primary School in Oban. 

There are 28 hours per week available, to be worked from 9am to 5pm, Tuesdays to Fridays.

You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and supportive staff team and inquisitive children.  You will be required to teach a variety of classes for management time and Non Class Contact time.

We would welcome applications from teachers completing their probationary year in June 2017.

Any applicant who is not currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) should include evidence of a pending application  with this regulatory body with their application.

Subject to the policies of the school and the education authority the duties of teachers, promoted and unpromoted, are to perform such tasks as the Headteacher shall direct having reasonable regard to overall teacher workload.

The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary; the actual salary will be paid pro-rata for the hours worked.
This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee's director.
