Rephad Primary is situated in the picturesque market town of Stranraer in the west of Dumfries and Galloway overlooking Loch Ryan and the Ailsa Craig to the north. The school has a roll of approximately 210 with an additional 60 place nursery.

The school sits in the east of the town beside the local Secondary School, Stranraer Academy. There is easy access to the A75 east towards Dumfries and north along the A77 leading to Ayr and Glasgow. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community and has a very welcoming ethos with supportive parents, a friendly staff team and enthusiastic young people.

The school is well placed to continue its improvement agenda with lots of opportunities for new members of staff to participate and help take forward the schools development priorities as part of a professional staff team.
The successful applicant will teach in different classes to meet the needs of the school. You will be responsible for aspects of planning, assessment and reporting as directed by the Headteacher.
