South Dartmoor Community College is seeking to appoint from January 2019, a well-qualified practitioner to teach Psychology and Health & Social Care to an advanced level in an innovative and popular department.   We are seeking an outstanding teacher of Psychology to cover a 0.5 FTE maternity leave in our very successful 11-18 school.  We expect the successful candidate to provide our students with first-class subject knowledge of Psychology, and Health & Social Care at KS5, so that they leave the school equipped with skills allowing them to reach their full potential at university and in the current job market.  Highly qualified NQT’s are welcome to apply and we are happy to support the NQT year throughout this time period. The Department and College are focusing on ‘building the learning power’ of students to ensure that learners are engaged, curious and challenged.
