Are you an outstanding teacher with the passion and motivation to inspire young people?
If so, then you will not want to miss out on this opportunity to be appointed as a Teacher of Psychology at our high-performing College, which recently retained its Ofsted Good rating.
Why come to Latimer?
This is a fantastic school to work in: as a result of our success and popularity we are over-subscribed and have a very strong positive reputation. On interview we ask candidates for their impressions of the College and without fail they comment on how wonderful our students are, the supportive team ethos amongst staff and how friendly and welcoming the College is.
We are a tight-knit unit striving for the very best for our students and we are focused on, and passionate about, learning and success.
We genuinely care about our staff, their well-being and their professional development: we are a happy team, committed to working collaboratively and sharing the very best practice. This was very much recognised in our recent Ofsted Inspection.
If you are an outstanding Psychology teacher, it really is worth applying for this post. Due to a maternity leave, we are seeking to appoint a candidate to this temporary role who is passionate about their subject area; a team player who will thrive on collaboration and team-work; someone who really wants to make a difference!
We are primarily looking for an applicant who can teach Psychology at KS4 and 5. There is a possibility of this becoming a full-time role if Science as a second subject can be offered. Psychology is a very popular subject, and due to our expanding numbers this could become a permanent role during or by the conclusion of the maternity cover.
We have a strong track record of leadership development and succession planning for an ambitious candidate who is keen to progress to leadership in the future.
For an application form and further details, please contact Ms Ridley, Principal’s PA, on 01536 720310 or email email@example.com
Closing date: Thursday 22 November 2018.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
The Latimer Arts College values the diversity of our workforce and welcomes applications from all sectors of the community.
