Job overview
We wish to appoint an experienced Teacher of Psychology to develop and inspire students.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate effective teaching skills within the classroom and follow the AQA specification.
The Teacher of Psychology will report into our Head of Science. The Science department is a diverse and friendly environment, with a strong focus on pedagogy and research-led practice.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills, sound subject knowledge, excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, an appreciation of different learning styles, an ability to build up positive rapport with colleagues and students, an appreciation of the ethos and aims of Bedales and the way in which Psychology contributes to the aims of the School.

Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.
Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
