Emanuel School is a co-educational independent secondary day school in Wandsworth, London, with over 900 pupils from 10-18 years old. We aim to balance academic excellence with the provision of supportive pastoral care and a wide range of co-curricular activities across the arts and sports.
We are seeking a new member of the psychology department, to teach this increasingly popular A-level subject choice. We are looking for outstanding classroom skills, and candidates with the ability to challenge, engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential, ensuring high standards of attainment, progress and teaching practice. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to be considered for a fixed term responsibility as acting head of department.
We also welcome applications from NQTs and recent graduates, or from innovative and exciting teachers looking for a career move to a school with high aspirations. They will join a well-respected team, and benefit from a wide range of physical and virtual resources. All teaching staff take on pastoral responsibilities (as form tutors) and are actively involved in our programme of co-curricular activities.
